Briland Silk Flat Interior Paint

FIELDS OF USE

It is suitable to be applied on all types of interior surfaces, lower surface preparation of which are made, such as satin plaster, putty and Primer; as well as wallpapers; and previously painted surfaces. Because of the glossy silk characteristic of the paint, it can be safely used as complementary paint for restoration and decoration purposes.

PROPERTIES

The paint is water-based and specially formulated. Due to unique pigments, fillers and p.v.a in its structure, it has a perfect opacity. Colors are vivid, and white bears the maximum value of whiteness. Applied surfaces create a silky gloss appearance. The product has a much higher rub-out value than standards. The ability to be wiped is at the highest level. It never cracks, blisters nor fades.

Chemical Structure: Acrylic copolymer emulsion.
Viscosity: 115KU -120KU 25°C
Thinner: Water.
Recommended Application: 2 coats
Drying period: Full drying period is max. 24 hours, time to wait between two coats is min. 2 hours.

APPLICATION

Surfaces to apply Briland Silk Flat Paint should be endurable, dry, clean and able to carry paint. Cracked surfaces should be fixed before application. If surfaces to be painted for the first time are satin plaster, appearance of the product will be more decorative. Application surface and ambient temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C. The performance of the product will be maximized by applying Kardelen Filled Interior Primer before Briland Silk Flat Paint.

THINNING

It is recommended to thin at a ratio of 10 – 15 % depending on surface conditions with clean water including no other solvent or foreign material; and to apply two coats of paint.

CONSUMPTION

Depending on absorption properties of the surface, with 1 kg Briland Silk Flat Paint 12-14 m2 area can be painted, and with 1 lt 15-17 m2 area can be painted.
