Aura Synthetic Anti-Rust

FIELDS OF USE

It is used indoors and outdoors on any kind of metal surfaces, iron constructions, agricultural machines, industrial plants, industrial machines and equipment for preventing corrosion.

PROPERTIES

It is a solvent based coating with a combination of special alkyd and anticorrosive pigments protecting all metal surfaces against rust. It has a flat appearance. Due to its high opacity it saves labor and time. It adheres well to the surface. It creates excellent adherence for the final coat. It is resistant against marine effect and moisture.

Viscosity: 90 KU -100 KU at 25°C
Thinner: Kardelen Synthetic Thinner
Thickness: 8 microns
Solid matter quantity: 78%-82%
Flashing point: 39–40°C
Drying period: Period to touch: 1-2 hours, period for keeping the dust away: 2-4 hours, solid drying period: 18 hours.

APPLICATION

Old and new surfaces to be applied with Aura Synthetic Anti- Rust should be cleaned from oil, rust, dirt and dust. Sandpaper should be used on required surfaces. The surface should be wiped with a soft cloth soaked in synthetic thinner. Although the opacity of Aura Synthetic Anti-Rust is high, it is recommended to apply 2 coats to maximize the anti-corrosive effect. It should be waited 18 hours between coats. If finish is going to be applied on it, it is necessary to wait for 24 hours. Application should be done above + 5°C.
