Aura Silicone Based Antibacterial Interior Paint

FIELDS OF USE

It is used on inner surfaces of building elements such as plaster, exposed concrete, brick, wallpaper, chipboard, gypsum board and etc. It is especially suitable for use in public personal areas and medical areas where antibacterial properties are sought, such as hospitals and operating rooms.

PROPERTIES

In accordance with the Biocidal Product License of the Ministry of Health TR, General Directorate of Public Health, no 2021/129, dated 10.09.2021; 99.9% antimicrobial activity was observed against e.coli (ATCC 8739), s.aureus (ATCC 6538P), MRSA, VRE, A. Brasiliensis, P.purpurogenum bacteria and molds. The product is water-based, breathable, water repellent and wipeable, easy to apply, does not crack, swell or spill. It has high coverage. Colors do not fade, whiteness is pure white.

Drying period: Full drying period is max. 24 hours, time to wait between two coats is min. 2 hours.

APPLICATION

Surfaces should be endurable, dry, clean and able to carry paint. Cracked surfaces should be fixed. It is recommended to use Kardelen Sealer Interior Primer on absorbent surfaces such as mineral based gypsum to be painted for the first time. Application surface and ambient temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C. It can be applied with a brush, roll or spray. Application range is based on needs. Provide good ventilation. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Do not eat, drink or smoke during application and preparation. Wash all exposed parts with soap and water after handling and before leaving the workplace. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN, FOOD AND ANIMAL FEED. THINNING

It is recommended to thin at a ratio of 15 – 20% depending on surface conditions, with clean water including no other solvent or foreign material; and to apply two coats of paint.

CONSUMPTION

Depending on absorption properties of the surface, with 1 kg Aura Silicone Based Interior Paint 8- 10 m² surface can painted, and with 1 lt 17-20 m² area can be painted.

STORAGE

Storable for 2 years in a cool dry place away from direct sun light at temperatures between -5 and + 30°C. Avoid freezing. Consume opened product within 30 days at the latest.
