Cellulosic Sealer Varnish
FIELDS OF USE
It is used for preparing finish or varnish applications for all kinds of wood surfaces that are exposed to a frequent use. It fills the pores of wooden surfaces and smoothens the application surface.
PROPERTIES
It is a combination of nitrocellulose and special alkyd. It dries quickly. It has excellent filling ability. It hardens the surface at a high level. It has a high spreadability, leaving no trace of brush and roll. Creates a clear and transparent surface.
Appearance: Semi-transparent, yellowish
Chemical Structure: nitrocellulose and alkyd combination.
Viscosity: 300 s 4 cup
Thinner: Kardelen Cellulosic Thinner
Density: 0.95 gr/cm3
Solid matter quantity: 35%-40%
Opacity: 11 m2/lt
Flashing point: below 20°C.
Drying period: period to touch: 10 minutes, use of sandpaper: 2 hours, solid drying period: 24 hours.
Surfaces to be applied with Kardelen Cellulosic Sealant Varnish should be dust free and oil free. Kardelen Cellulosic Sealant Varnish can be applied with brush, roll and gun. It can be applied to sanded surfaces after thinning to an appropriate viscosity. Under normal conditions it can be sanded after 2 hours. In application, ambient temperature should be above + 5°C. In order to achieve a smooth and slick surface, multiple coat application should be preferred, and it should be waited for 4-6 hours between the coats. Applications should all be done in the same direction.
It is thinned with Kardelen Cellulosic Thinner at a ratio of 10 – 30%
With 1 lt Kardelen Cellulosic Sealant Varnish, 8-10 m2 area can be painted depending on surface conditions.
Storable for 2 years in cool and dry places away from direct sunlight between -5 and +30 °C with the lid tightly closed. Avoid freezing.
